Ein neues Projekt - The colour purple

vor einigen Wochen war ich mit einer Freundin im benachbarten Ausland shoppen. Wer einen Trip in die Niederlande plant, dem kann ich Den Bosch als Zwischenstop sehr empfehen. Hübsche Stadt, tolle Läden, nette Restaurants - kurz: lohnenswert!
Die Niederländer sind meist in der Mode etwas pfiffiger und voraus, da lohnt sich allein das Anschauen der Schaufenster schon ( nicht, dass ich nicht fündig geworden wäre...).
Besonders aufgefallen waren mir Trenchmäntel in pink-tönen, vor allem in der Farbe fuchsia. Die Farbe mag ich sehr, und eine Anprobe ergab, dass sie mir gut steht - also, Mut zur Farbe und nach einem Stoff gesucht, der meinen Vorstellungen entspricht. Bei Sabine bin ich dann fündig geworden mit einer weichen Baumwollmischung mit einem sanften Schimmer, perfekt für einen Sommermantel. Und weil er so gut dazu passte, landete noch ein Blusenpopeline im Warenkorb...
Geplant sind nun also ein Hemdblusenkleid nach dem Neue Mode Schnitt 23456 ( Modell B ) und ein Trenchcoat nach Schnittvision. Verarbeitungsdetails sind in Planung, aber noch nicht definitv. Derzeit genieße ich lieber nach Feierabend das schöne Wetter...Ausserdem ist gerade eines der Dessousets von Kantjeboord in der Mache. Die Stoffe sind allerdings startklar, daher beginne ich mit dem Kleid, das Wetter macht ja wirklich Lust darauf, und der Schnitt ist nicht wirklich kompliziert.

I went shopping together with a friend just at the other site of the border . I really recommend visiting Den Bosch to everybody planning a trip to the Netherlands. A nice town with great shopping possibilities, nice restaurants - it is worth visiting! Since the dutch fashion is usually a bit more couture and trend it is really an inspiration to go window shopping ( which does not meant that I did not found anything...). My eyes were caught by trenchcoats in fuchsia in some of the shops. I like this colour and tried one of the coats, surprice - the colour looked nice on me.

Just try more colour and so the fabric search began...Finally I found the perfect fabric at Sabine´s store in a light cotton mixture with a light shimmering, perfect for a summer trench I think. I also had to pick up the second fabric, it suited perfectly to the fuchsia fabric and the flowerish pattern is so lovely. I have enoughfabric for a shirt dress, which will be Neue Mode 23456 ( view B) and will still have left for a blouse or so. For the trench I will use Schnittvision again, I am still thinking about some unique details but these days I prefer to enjoy the wonderful weather outside, so no progress on that in the moment. Anyway I am sewing some lingerie from my kantjeboord packages and will start with the dress - all fabrics are washed and waiting for me...
