The way I like Patchwork...

I am not really in favour of Patchwork, but sometimes really like the fabric. For this reason I have some nice Amy Butler fabrics in my stash. This is what turned out by sewing a nice spring-skirt from 5 different Amy Butler Fabrics:



I used patterns from Burda ( skirt: 8216 - camisole: 8122 ) which both turned out really nice. Although Burda recommends them for beginners as "easy" I would not agree, since the skirt has some details which may overwhelm a beginner and I do not consider stretchy fabrics as a starting point to sew...
Nevertheless I really recommend the fabric as the ideal thing to start; it is really fun to work with.
The skirt has a belt, belt loops of curse and I tried to mix up the nice fabrics as much as possible. Please have a look at the pics to see some of the details...





Ich bin nicht wirklich ein Fan von Patchwork, aber manchmal verzaubern mich die Stoffe einfach. So war es auch bei diesen Stoffen von Amy Butler und oben seht Ihr, was dabei heraus kommt, wenn man 5 Patchworkstoffe zu einem Rock für den Frühling kombiniert.
Ich habe zwei Burda.Schnittmuster von Burda vernäht ( Rock : 8216 - Jacke: 8122 ). Beides schöne, gut passende Schnitte.
Obwohl beide Schnittmuster von Burda als "easy" (1 Punkt ) gekennzeichnet wurden, würde ich sie blutigen Anfängern nicht empfehlen. Der Rock hat doch einige Details ( Absteppungen, RV, Taschen ) und dehnbare Stoffe sind sicher nicht für ein Erstprojekt geeignet.
Ich habe die Stoffe möglichst gut durchgemixt. Schaut Euch einfach die Bilder an, um einige Details zu sehen....

schööön! das sieht ja klasse aus, die farben, hach, wer da nicht in (früh-)sommerstimmung kommt! den streifenstoff hab ich hier auch liegen, leider zu wenig für so ein schönes stück.
